Sell Surplus Industrial Wire and Cable in Steubenville, Ohio
Steubenville's industrial base is metals: steel, finishing, fabrication and the gas and chemical work that grew up around it. That means welding cable, tray cable and medium-voltage cable in volume, plus the surplus reels that come with plant upgrades and shutdowns.
Steubenville sits in Jefferson County, in Southeast Ohio. Wire that leaves a plant, warehouse or job site here is handled the same way as anywhere else in the state: send the details and photos, get a number, then arrange pickup or shipping.

Welding Cable and Heavy-Duty Cord
Welding cable takes a beating in a metals town, and shops here buy it in 2/0 and 4/0 coils. When a job ends or a shop standardizes on one size, the leftover coils sit. We buy welding cable by the coil and by the foot, along with SOOW cord in 8 through 2 AWG.
Bare copper and insulated grounding conductors move through these shops in sizes from 6 AWG to 4/0. Clean copper is easy to price; heavily oxidized copper is not.
Tray Cable and Medium-Voltage Feeder Surplus
Jefferson County plants run tray cable and shielded control cable from line to line, and 5kV and 15kV cable for incoming feeders. An upgrade or a cancelled project can leave a full reel still banded in its original wrap. The tag usually gives the voltage class, insulation and conductor size; the remaining length is on you.
Copper and aluminum both show up here, and the two price differently, so note the conductor metal on the tag photo.
SR-7, US-22 and I-77
SR-7 runs the length of the county along the river, US-22 cuts east toward Pittsburgh and I-77 is a short haul west. Rail and river traffic keep the industrial roads wide, but some older properties have low clearance or a single gate. Tell us the access limits before the pickup gets scheduled.
Winter road salt and river humidity are hard on stored cable in this part of the state, so indoor storage is worth mentioning.
